After spending time at Cobalt Business Park on Clean Air Day, we packed up and do what eBike companies do, we rode home...

We left Cobalt’s shopping centre at just after 2 pm, joined the Wagonways (that unknown network of paths cross- crossing the North Tyneside Region, used by only a few local people), heading towards Percy Main.  On to Royal Quays, through the beautiful but underused park, along past the stunning Smiths Dock Development, to the Fish Quay.

Onwards, along the mouth of the Tyne, and up Pier Road (faster than 90% of riders could do it, even with a 300lb.  load) to Tynemouth Village.  We were heading to Percy Park, so we went through Percy Gardens, along the coast and back to base.

How long did that take? 25 minutes. How many cars did we intersect? Less than ten. How much more pleasurable than being in a car? Immeasurable…
